Tunisian Crochet Bag StrapSuper Easy How to Crochet Bag Strap or Crochet a Cord Step by Step | ViVi Berry Crochet Technically this is Tunisian Crochet, but done by breaking two cardinal rules, which ends up giving it a pattern on the bias, increasing at the start and decreasing at the end. The first broken rule is to skip the first vertical bar: this does not skip it, giving an increase. The second broken rule is to start the return pass with a chain one: this does not, thus creating a decrease.2024-01-21 23:30:55

Tunisian Treble Puff StitchThis is a Stitch With No Name, because the tutorial-maker did not give it a name. I am calling it the Treble Puff Stitch, because it makes a three-loop puff stitch around three Tunisian double-crochets. A lacy and geometric stitch, because the puff stitch ends up looking like a tilted square. It might not look so geometric with more fuzzy yarn.2024-01-12 20:20:23

Simple connecting stitch for Tunisian Crochet - working in the round with a cabled hook.Read more here: https://payhip.com/Abbeymade/blog/tunisian-crochet-tutorials/work-in-the-round-with-a-cabled-hook
This is my favourite method for working in the round with a cabled tunisian hook. I did not invent this technique, I learned it from Ben Burchall and I think even he didn't invent it!
I use this 'connecting stitch' method for nearly all my 'in the round' Tunisian Crochet patterns. It does not leave a 'jog' in the rounds which is great when working in stripes - such as in mosaic.
You can apply this technique to any in the round Tunisian Crochet pattern. Please note there are other methods for making a connecting stitch and you can also work in the round with a double ended rigid or cabled hook.2023-06-19 21:59:00 -

Tunisian Crochet Without A ChainCrochet cast-on. This cast-on uses a crochet hook to make the cast-on stitches. This is suitable for either Tunisian Crochet or for knitting. (The reason why the title says Tunisian Crochet Without A Chain is because a standard Tunisian Crochet cast-on uses a chain and then pull-up-a-loop for each chain.)2022-02-10 17:19:00

Tunisian Crochet CirclesLearn how to make Tunisian Circles. Unlike crochet circles, this is done in segments like pieces of a pie. This is done in Tunisian Simple Stitch, and therefore curls up. It might be worth trying in alternating front and back Simple Stitch to see if it flattens out.

Tunisian crochet LACY SHELLS stitch I How to crochet I Stitch Tutorial I Return pass stitchTunisian crochet Lacy Shells Stitch Stitch Multiple (Number of beginning chains): Multiple of 5 +2
Material used in this video: Yarn: Ganga Alisha Hook: Tunisian Knitpro hook - 6mm
You can choose any yarn and a suitable hook. This stitch looks best in light & plain solid colours.
Some important points: 1) Try to use thick pale yarns as a beginner, for practice. 2) Pale/light & solid coloured yarns are better for stitch visibility when practicing. 3) Use light colour yarns for good visibility. 4) Always use 1.5 to 2 mm larger hook size than used for regular crochet for the same yarn. 5) Use Tunisian crochet hooks.2021-12-14 11:39:00 -
