Good. The author is always good with Richie, and it was nice seeing Randi the reporter again. The title is definitely a winner all by itself! Worth re-reading every now and again, when one has forgotten what happened.

"The Lost World" (Highlander)

First-season short - Duncan muses over the lost world of the past. Melancholy - though Tessa don't let him stay that way for long! Lovingly detailed descriptions and tone. Just what one would expect from this author.

"Ransom of a Young Immortal" (Highlander)

An alternative-universe version of the episode "The Ransom of Richard Redstone" - a much more plausible version. And much better. This is a darker and angstier story, particularly the end. One is left with a question, and a shadow on the sun.

"Sandburg has a new obsession" and he's so Sandburgian in the way he looks at it, too. A nice thoughtful piece, with a nice way for words.
