A droll little drabble; banter between Benny, Ace and the Doctor about people one would invite to dinner.

Summary: Benny, Chris and Roz help the Doctor decide what to do when a priceless work of art falls into his hands. While they're distracted, something very important is stolen: themselves.

This made me feel all nostalgic for the NAs; it really has the feel of an unofficial NA. Creepy opening prologue, check. Good Benny point-of-view, check. Creepy dark scene set completely elsewhere that doesn't seem to have anything to do with either the prologue or the main story, but you know it will make sense later, check. Seventh Doctor from whom one cannot get a straight answer, check. Surreal scenarios, check.

Unfortunately, the ending was a bit of an anti-climax; after everything that had gone on, after all the darkness and creepiness and uncertainty, the actual solution of the problem seemed a bit too easy. But the first 3/4 of it is a cracking good story.

Summary: Donna Noble's mind is trying to tell her something she doesn't want to hear.

Yes, yet another post-"Journey's End" Donna-fixit story. Hey, I like them!

The best part of this was Donna's dreams. I got half-way through before I realized what they were about, and went back and started again from the beginning, because it was really cool.

In comparison, the end of the story was just okay, probably because I read it after having read several Donna-fixit stories, so it didn't have quite the zing that it might have had if I'd read it when it was actually posted.
