Design for a four-panel square/round bag. While the instructions are for knitting, this could easily be done in crochet or tunisian crochet instead. Nifty idea.

It is mostly half double crochet (hdc) with a small amount of single crochet (sc) and uses the slip stitch (sl st) to close it and to create the drawstring. The crochet handbag, finished, measures 7 inches across and 11 inches tall, can be made larger, and can easily be lined with fabric.
