I haven't seen Torchwood but I read it most of it (chapter 3's lack of formatting made it too hard) anyway because it was Martha and Martha is indeed awesome. How she get some of the Hand's DNA though, forgive my ignorance?

I love the crack about politicians and the bit about Burroughs travelling in time and basing his stories on real planets. I'll go back to read chapter 3 later. :-)

Yes, the Who planets and Burroughs' ones do have a similar feel. I like it!

I've read the last bit now. Excellent story, and I do like Martha making the Doctor take a year as a human (even though she isn't any more).

I wonder what she'll do after that though? Travel with him or remain on Earth like Jack as a near-immortal?

Just found the story through and I'm so glad I did.

It's just brilliant. I loved the whole concept, your great characterisation and the perfect ending.

I normally hate the readers who leave 'RITE MOAR' reviews, but this is the first story in a long while that left me feeling like that and I just couldn't help myself.

can you be in love with a story? because I think i am with this one! absolutely perfect, short but achingly satisfying! I'm a Martha/Doctor shipper, and I found this fufilling even without all the romance stuff! it didn't need it because that would have seemed rush and false!
