A re-telling of the fairy tale of the same name.
The Princess is sympathetic, an ugly-duckling sort of character. I'm interested that the author managed to set up the swap in a believable way, taking account of all the complications that would ensue, and also the character of the Maid so it explains how and why she would do this, while not making the Princess a spoiled brat, while having the Maid think that she is. And I did like all the things about languages.
But I don't think I'll read it again.
