As the title says.
Silver glitter pouring in the morning
a cascade of tinsel fragments
The jewelled lawn, gift of the dawn:
pearl drops on grass blades.
Royal icing layered on mountainsides
or a dusting of icing sugar -
a field of blinding broken glass
when the sun shines.
The teeth of the cold;
a poison that numbs the limbs.
Flowers of crystal, perfect in symmetry,
blooms too delicate to stand a breath.
Mountains of cotton wool, wisps, feathers,
floating, sheep of the wind.
