First season, just after "Children of the Gods". Daniel's vow.
I look into your eyes
and an alien stares back.
They tell me you are dead
But I see you standing, live
Breathing through those kissable lips
Tossing your black cascade of hair
From each finger
to delicate toe
on the outside, whole.
But I look into your eyes
and an alien stares back.
You walk into a Gate and you are gone.
If any piece of your soul
still lives
If the woman that I love
still lives
I cannot rest
Though I search a galaxy of stars
to find your vanished face
I must
If ever there was hope
I must
To live for the day
when I stare into your eyes
and my own Sha're looks back.
